The luxury of the Lord
Up to this day, sovereignty, might and wealth of so-called "religions" are reliant upon masses of uneducated people plus their unbridled reproduction. And the "clerical masters" not only light-heartedly and uncaringly accept the resulting concomitants, such as poverty, hunger, deceases and misery; they even take advantage of them and utilize them as disciplinary means.
Even being an avowed atheist, I don't seem to be able to turn my Web site into a religion-free zone. Often enough I stand in front of their magnificent temples of idol worship, their cathedrals of manifested superstition, their monuments of intimidation, repression and misuse of power - awestruck, with shivers running up and down my spine.
May the belief in sacrosanct, impeccable authorities be one of the most fatal evils in the history of humanity; it nevertheless motivated a significant number of men and women, even exceptional minds and thinkers, devoid of force or peonage, to outstanding individual achievements. Numerous grandiose buildings bear witness to that until this day.
So let's pay our respect and homage to those who planned, realized and eventually erected these buildings stone by stone - and less to those who reside in them pretending to be the masters of the world.
