Street photography
Personally, I define street photography as pictures of human presence and human doings in public space. Without posing (and mostly even knowing) protagonists, however - where possible and deserved - maintaining human dignity.
So, out into the streets, pushing the shutter release button as often as possible... not worrying about not coming back with perfectly composed masterpieces of photography. As long as the pictures possess a statement or some sort of a punchline, show an activity or tell a story, it was worth the efforts.
